For handmade one of a kind ceramic mezuzah "Tree of life", I wanted to give the impression that the scroll was wrapped by a wood branch, since there is a mitzvah that one must see the name of God written on the parchment when kissing the mezuzah.  

The glass tube easily slides out of the mezuzah to comfortably insert the scroll.The mezuzah is attached on the right side of the door frame with a strong double sided tape that's is include in your packet.

The mezuzah cover can be cleaned with a dry rag. Make sure that the door frame of the door is clean and dry before you stick the mezuzah on it. Since each of our pieces is a unique handmade work of art, it could be slightly different from the photo of this item, but will looks similar.
