For this mezuzah, we wanted to give the impression that the parchment was wrapped and visible through the glass tube, since there is a mitzvah that one must see the name of God written on the parchment when kissing the mezuzah.  

The mezuzah is attached on the right side of the door frame with a strong double sided tape that's is include in your packet. The mezuzah cover can be cleaned with a dry rag. Make sure that the door frame of the door is clean and dry before you stick the mezuzah on it.
